The process of creating art that others can enjoy and appreciate brings immeasurable pleasure and satisfaction to my life, yet there was once a time when I truly thought that painting a beautiful landscape could only be accomplished by a trained artist; that is, until Bob Ross and his “Happy Little Accidents” came to public television. The result was a revelation! Today, all of my artwork is still hand painted using digital technology and 300 pixels of color per inch. All this means more time and effort to complete a painting, but it also gives me the ability to add the smallest of details that I love to put into my paintings.

Marilyn Cullingford 5:56 PM (0 minutes ago) to Fine Thanks, Sol. I created this one several years ago and thought I had lost it when my pc crashed. After that, I didn't waste any time buying myself an external drive. Fate was kind to me, however, and I found the Cherry Blossoms image on an old stick that I used to use for temporary storage. Too bad I didn't save more of my work back then. Live and learn! I'm currently working on something with a little more color in it. Thanks again for taking the time to comment!
